MMM’s best practices include upholding the Codes of Ethics for all professional associations to which MMM is affiliated.

• AIC Code of Ethics & Guidelines for Practice: The primary goal of conservation professionals, individuals with extensive training & special expertise, is the preservation of cultural property.

• ARCS Code of Ethics: Provide standards for expected conduct & guidance on how to work in accordance with the management & physical & intellectual attributes of collections, risk management to protect collections, effective training, legal versus ethical control & such matters that the registrar & collections specialist should be able to provide to their profession.
